Attendance was good: approximately a dozen regular members in attendance, after approximately 35 respondents to the schedule availability Doodle. Apparently, the reduction of our meeting time to 30 minutes (from one hour) was practical and if anything increased attendance. Periodically, individuals remained beyond the 30 minutes to discuss the session, based on individual interests.
The group meets weekly on Thursdays 12:45-1:15 p.m., whereas we used to meet for a full hour. The thinking is that many need to leave early to have lunch or return to work, so I think minimizing the slot makes it more inclusive and the smaller timeframe makes it less inhibitive than the thought of …
